Connect LinkedIn to Pulsar

LinkedIn Ads and LinkedIn Pages in Pulsar via OAuth LinkedIn Marketing API. Step-by-step tutorial in 5 minutes.

What Pulsar retrieves from LinkedIn

Pulsar synchronises: LinkedIn Ads (impressions, clicks, conversions, leads, CPL per campaign), LinkedIn Pages (followers, post engagement, views, organic reach).

OAuth permissions used: r_ads_reporting + r_organization_social. Strict read-only.

The 4 steps

1. LinkedIn prerequisites

You must be admin of the target LinkedIn Company Page. For LinkedIn Ads: admin on the Ad Account of the LinkedIn Business Manager (account.linkedin.com).

2. Connect via OAuth

Settings > Connected sources > LinkedIn > "Connect LinkedIn". Permission validation.

3. Select the Page + Ad Account

Choose the Company Page + the Ad Account corresponding to the project.

4. First synchronisation

Pulsar retrieves 12 months of history. Sync 3-8 minutes.

Common errors

No Page listedYour LinkedIn account is not admin of the Page. Request access from the owner via Page Admin Center.
Empty Ad AccountCheck on business.linkedin.com that you have access to an Ad Account with launched campaigns (otherwise Pulsar retrieves 0 data, which is normal).
LinkedIn API rate limitLinkedIn API has strict quotas. Pulsar respects them with smart caching. In case of blocking, wait 24h and resync.

Frequently asked questions

Does Pulsar track LinkedIn Forms leads?

Yes, leads collected via Lead Gen Forms are surfaced (volume, CPL, per campaign). Contact details (sensitive data) remain on LinkedIn for GDPR.

And LinkedIn organic tracking?

Yes: followers, post engagement (likes, comments, shares), reach, top posts. No access to DMs or individual profiles.

Is Pulsar Sales Navigator integrated?

No, Sales Navigator has its own separate API. Pulsar covers LinkedIn Marketing API only (Ads + Pages).

How many Pages can I connect?

One per project. For multi-pages (subsidiaries, brands), create one project per Page.
