Getting started

Your first steps with Pulsar.

How long does it take to get started with Pulsar?
Setup takes less than 30 minutes. You connect your accounts (Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Ads, Meta...) via OAuth, then your first dashboard appears automatically.
What do I need to sign up?
A professional email and access to the platforms you want to connect. No credit card required for the 14-day trial.
Can I test Pulsar without connecting my own accounts?
Yes. When requesting a demo, choose "demo account" to explore Pulsar with sample data representative of a typical agency setup.

Supported channels and connection.

Which platforms does Pulsar support?
Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Google Ads, Google, Google Business Profile, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn Ads, Pinterest, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews.
A channel is missing, can you add it?
Yes. We integrate any channel with a public API on request. Reach out via the demo form indicating the channel and we get back with an estimate within 48 business hours.
How does the OAuth connection work?
You are redirected to the platform official authorization page. Pulsar receives an encrypted token stored in Switzerland. You can revoke access at any time from your dashboard or from the platform console.

Dashboards

Visualization and customization.

How many dashboards can I create?
Unlimited on every plan. You can have one dashboard per client, per channel, per campaign or build consolidated multi-client views.
Can I customize the metrics displayed?
Yes. Every widget is configurable (KPI, period comparison, segmentation, filters). Presets cover the standard cases (SEO, paid, social, GBP). You can save templates and reuse them across clients.
Is the data real-time?
Source APIs refresh every 4 to 6 hours depending on the platform. You can force a manual refresh at any time from each widget.

Multi-client & portals

Agency workflows and white-label.

How do client portals work?
Each client can access their own portal (custom URL, your branding, no Pulsar logo). You control permissions: read-only, comments, PDF export.
Do my clients see that Pulsar is used behind the scenes?
No, in white-label mode (Agency+ plan). Your logo, your colors, your domain. Report emails are sent from your addresses.
How many clients per account?
Starter: 5 portals. Agency: 25 portals. Agency+: unlimited. You can upgrade anytime from the billing page.

Security & GDPR

Hosting, tokens, compliance.

Where is my data stored?
All servers are in Switzerland (Infomaniak). No data transits through the US. Compliant with GDPR, Swiss FADP, and best practice for European clients sensitive to data sovereignty.
Are OAuth tokens secure?
Yes. AES-256 encrypted tokens at rest, logged access, automatic rotation. MFA enforced for admin accounts. Compliant with each platform OAuth 2.0 requirements.
Can I export and delete all my data?
Yes at any time. Full JSON export from your profile, permanent deletion (account, data, tokens) in one click. GDPR statutory 30-day delay enforced.

Billing

Plans, payment, free trial.

Is there a commitment?
No commitment. You can cancel anytime. Billing is monthly or annual, with 10% discount on annual plans.
What payment methods are accepted?
Credit card via Stripe for monthly and annual payments. SEPA transfer available for annual plans only. Luxembourg invoicing (EU VAT applies depending on your country).
How does the 14-day trial work?
No credit card required. You get full access to the Agency plan features for 14 days. No charge at expiry, you must activate a plan to keep using Pulsar.

Team & accounts

Users, permissions, SSO.

How many users per account?
Starter: 2 users. Agency: 8 users. Agency+: unlimited. Each user has configurable permissions (admin, editor, reader).
How do I add a new teammate?
From Settings > Team, send an email invitation. The teammate sets their password and activates MFA. You then assign permissions and client access.
Is enterprise SSO (SAML / OIDC) supported?
On the Agency+ plan only. Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra and Okta are supported. Contact us to enable SSO on your account.

How do I get in touch when I have an issue?
Email support@pulsar.lu. Response time: 24 business hours (Starter), 4 business hours (Agency), 1 business hour (Agency+). Platform status on status.pulsar.lu.
Is there an API documentation?
A REST API will be available early 2027 on the Agency+ plan. It will cover custom extractions, Looker Studio integrations and automations.
How do I suggest a feature?
Send requests to roadmap@pulsar.lu or via the feedback form inside your dashboard. All suggestions are read and the roadmap is public.
